So as you're probably already aware because of my constant winging, my dissertation deadline is steadily creeping up on me. As a result, my friends and I have pretty much locked ourselves in the library with rations of crap food and relentless and getting stuck in. To add an extra layer of insult, the weather has picked up and while I wouldn't don a bikini yet (like I have the time anyway), it's still really warm. So me and my friend Laura, after about three days of doing this, were sick of the library and decided to go for an adventure while walking home.
If you've ever been to Aberystwyth, you'll have noticed the huge hill overlooking the town. Constitution hill is actually a lovely place to walk and once at the top, the view is sensational. It had gotten quite late by the time we reached the top so the weather looks muggy but it was still really warm and humid. We took loads of photos of us mucking about, these are the only ones decent enough to show you. I was wearing my trusty parka and a burgundy jumper from New Look but was wayyy too warm, for a nice change. We spent a good hour looking at the view, sending snapchats and generally larking about. But reality always kicks in so we went home where I got to work once again. It was such a nice evening and because of how stressed out I'd been, I think i had needed a good walk more than I'd realised. I'm quite an active person, usually goig for a minimum of one jog a week. Nowadays, i'm out the house too early and home too late and when I am, all I want to do is curl up with a cup of tea and a film.
Anyway, as always I'm off to do more work on my diss. I bet you're going to be glad when it's done so i'll stop banging on about it. My apologies!
those pictures are gorgeous, especially the last one! i'd love it if youd comment back! http://amyelizabethfashion.blogspot.co.uk/2014/04/soap-and-glory-butter-yourself.html xx
